3 Steps To Get Your Medical Marijuana Card in MD
Register
The first step is to register as a patient with the Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission (MMCC). You’ll need to create a patient account on the Maryland OneStop website and provide a current ID and two (2) proofs of Maryland residency. If approved, you’ll receive your patient ID number in about 30-45 days.
Talk to a Doctor
Schedule an online telemedicine appointment with Green Health Docs or in-person at any one of our five clinics.
Meet with our doctor at your scheduled appointment time for your evaluation. If you have a health condition that could benefit from the use medical marijuana, then you will most likely be approved and receive your certification.
Get Your Card
Our doctor will upload your certification to your patient account if you’ve already registered and have your patient ID number. Once the certification is on file you will be able to print out your temporary card and immediately access any dispensary in Maryland. Your physical card will arrive in the mail within 90 days.

Once your appointment is scheduled, you’ll receive a confirmation email soon after. The confirmation email will have your intake form, which you’ll want to complete as soon as possible (it typically takes less than 10 minutes). This email will also have the link to access your online appointment. Dr. Anand Dugar is a board-certified anesthesiologist and pain medicine physician. Completing his Anesthesiology residency at The University of Pittsburgh in 2008 and practicing over the last 10 years, Dr. Dugar saw first-hand the damage the opioid epidemic was wreaking on so many lives.
