South Dakota FSST Medical Card Requirements
You must be a South Dakota resident. There is no age requirement, however, patients under the age of 18 will need a parent or guardian to apply as their registered agent (caregiver).

The certification process for the FSST medical program in South Dakota is similar to many other medical states. Patients will need to be certified by a licensed medical marijuana doctor first in order to apply with the state for a medical card.

The first step in getting your South Dakota medical marijuana card is to be evaluated and certified by a state-licensed medical cannabis doctor.

After you’ve been approved by our doctor, your next step is to apply to the FSST Cannabis Control Commission. To do so, you’ll need:
· A completed medical marijuana application signed by a doctor.
· A valid government-issued photo ID.
· $50 application fee payable by cash, credit/debit, or money order.

You will then need to submit the completed form to the FSST Cannabis Control Commission either by fax, mail, or physically at their office located in Flandreau, South Dakota.
