If you are a Minnesota resident diagnosed with at least one of the state-approved qualifying medical conditions, then you most likely be approved. We make obtaining your card easy! It basically comes down to just 2 steps:

1) Schedule an appointment with our licensed medical marijuana doctor.
2) Meet with the doctor online to be evaluated.

If you qualify, our doctor will enter your certification online the same day of your appointment so that you can register with the state as soon as possible. Once registered, you will immediately have access to purchase medical marijuana products from state-licensed dispensaries. The initial fee to be evaluated by our doctor is $200 payable by credit or debit. The fee includes the visit with the doctor, medical marijuana education, and any other assistance needed throughout the process. There is no longer a state registration fee.

Insurance programs unfortunately do not cover any costs related to obtaining your medical marijuana card due to conflicts with federal law.

The consultation with our doctor typically takes about 10-15 minutes.

Only our licensed medical marijuana doctor can determine if you qualify for the program, so we cannot guarantee your approval. However, if you do not get approved by our doctor you will receive a FULL refund! No, only doctors and medical professionals who have registered with the Minnesota Department of Health may issue recommendations for marijuana. All Minnesota doctors here at Green Health Docs are registered with the state to be able to issue recommendations.

To apply with the state as a medical marijuana patient, you’ll need:

· A cannabis certification from a medical marijuana provider.
· Valid government-issued photo ID.

Once your application has been approved, you’ll receive a confirmation email. Applications can take up to 30 days to be approved. After you receive your email you may immediately begin visiting dispensaries in Minnesota known as “Cannabis patient Centers”.

Minnesota dispensaries will carry a wide range of medical marijuana products, including the recent addition of raw cannabis flower that will be available spring 2022. Other types include oils, extracts, tinctures, sprays, capsules, pills, chewables, topicals, transdermal patches, and more.

As a Minnesota medical patient, you may legally purchase and possess up to a 90-day supply as determined by your certifying doctor.

No. All marijuana products must be purchased from a state-licensed dispensary.

Reciprocity laws for medical marijuana cards differ from state to state and change frequently, we recommend contacting a dispensary in the state you’re interested in visiting to find out if they will accept your card.

Your Minnesota medical marijuana recommendation is valid for one (1) year from the date it was issued. We will contact you when your recommendation is nearing expiration to set up a renewal consultation with our doctor.

You are required to be re-evaluated by a doctor and obtain an updated medical marijuana recommendation once per year to continue legally possessing and consuming medical marijuana products. The cost for a renewal consultation with our doctor is $150.

A caregiver is a Minnesota resident age 18 or over who is designated by a medical marijuana patient to be able to possess medical cannabis on behalf of the patient. They are also designated to help dispense and administer medical cannabis for the patient.

Caregivers will need to be entered into the state database by the patient’s certifying physician.

No, as a medical patient you are protected by HIPAA. We make the privacy and security of our patients’ confidential information a top priority. No one will be able to find out your status as a medical marijuana patient unless you openly tell them or if you are administered a drug screening.

Yes. There is not currently any legislation in place that provides medical marijuana patients protection in the workplace from either receiving drug screenings or receiving disciplinary action regarding the results of a drug screening. For this reason, we recommend making sure you are fully aware of your employer’s policy regarding drug screenings and medical marijuana before moving forward with the process.
