You will need a valid photo ID and if possible, at least one form of proof of your medical condition such as medical records, pill bottles, office visit summaries, or a letter from your doctor.

If you don't have medical documentation, you can still get certified! Call or text us at 240-356-1000 so that we can schedule you with a doctor that can diagnose and then a doctor that can certify you. We do not charge extra for the diagnosis.

Once your telemedicine appointment is booked, you'll receive a confirmation email shortly after. This email will have the link to your intake form which is where you will fill out your medical information as well as upload your ID and any medical documentation you are able to provide.

The initial fee to be evaluated by our doctor is $200 payable by credit or debit.  The fee includes the visit with the doctor, help with the state application, medical marijuana education, and any other assistance needed throughout the process.  The state application fee for your medical ID card is $50.

Only a licensed medical marijuana doctor can determine if you qualify for the program, so we cannot guarantee your approval. However, if you do not get approved by our doctor you will receive a FULL refund! A state-licensed medical marijuana doctor will examine you, review any medical documentation you are able to provide and assess your medical history. Appointments are typically about 10-15 minutes. We will also maintain your patient records and provide follow-up care as needed.

· Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)

· Seizures

· Terminal Illness

No. Doctors must hold a valid license to practice medicine in Delaware and register with the Department of Health in order to certify patients for a medical marijuana card. Yes. Children (under the age of 18) can become medical marijuana patients in Delaware. However, the child must have a parent or guardian register as his/her caregiver.

No. Insurance companies do not cover any costs associated with medical marijuana due to conflicts with federal law.

As a medical cardholder, you may purchase and possess up to three (3) ounces of medical marijuana every 14 days.

No. The state does not allow patients or caregivers to cultivate medical marijuana. Only a state-licensed cultivation facility can grow medical marijuana.

A designated caregiver is a Delaware resident aged 21 or over who is designated by a medical marijuana patient to be able to purchase and possess medical cannabis on behalf of the patient.  They are also designated to help dispense and administer medical cannabis for the patient.

Caregivers must submit a medical cannabis caregiver application to the state along with valid Delaware ID and the caregiver application fee of $125.

No, as a medical patient you are protected by HIPAA. Green Health Docs makes the privacy and security of our patients’ confidential information a top priority. No one will be able to find out your status as a medical marijuana patient unless you openly tell them or if you are administered a drug test for marijuana.

Yes. With Delaware being an at-will state and there not currently being any legislation in place that protects medical marijuana patients in the workplace, medical cardholders can still be administered drug screenings and receive disciplinary action regarding the results of drug screenings. For this reason, we recommend making sure you are fully aware of your employer’s policy regarding drug screenings and medical marijuana before moving forward with the process.

Yes, there are multiple states currently accepting Delaware medical cards. The laws for using out-of-state medical cards vary from state to state, so the best way to find out is by contacting a dispensary in the state you're interested in visiting.

You are required to be re-certified by a doctor once every year; the cost to renew is $199.  You will also need to renew your card with the state every year for $50.
