Kentucky Medical Marijuana Card Renewal Online

Your Kentucky medical marijuana card is valid for 1 year from the date it was issued. You will need to be re-certified by a provider once per year to keep your card active. If you're a Green Health Docs patient, we will contact you when it's time to renew.

Each year at your re-certification appointment, your medical provider will issue a new certification.  You will then need to submit a renewal application online with through the state portal.

The re-certification fee to be evaluated by our doctor is $199 if you're a returning patient of Green Health Docs. 

Yes! The state of Kentucky is currently allowing patients to renew their medical marijuana cards online via telemedicine.  This means you can get recertified from the comfort of your own home using a smartphone, tablet, or computer.  Telemedicine is the most convenient way to renew your medical marijuana card.

Make sure you have a device such as a computer, smartphone, or tablet that has internet access and a working camera.

Once your appointment is scheduled, you’ll immediately receive a confirmation email.  The confirmation email will have your intake form, which you’ll want to complete as soon as possible (it typically takes less than 10 minutes).  This email will also have the link to access your online appointment.  Click the link at your scheduled appointment time to access the virtual waiting room, and from there, our doctor will start the video call.

Yes, you may continue using the same medical documentation for each follow-up consultation with our doctor.  However, you'll still need to fill out a new intake form, which will be found in your confirmation email once you've scheduled an appointment.

Only our doctor can determine if you qualify, so we cannot guarantee your approval. However, if we assess you and find that you do not qualify, you will receive a 100% refund. There’s no risk in scheduling your evaluation!
