Athens Medical Marijuana Doctors

You must be a Georgia resident. There is no age requirement, however patients under the age of 18 will need a parent or guardian to register as their caregiver.

To obtain your Georgia medical marijuana card, you will need to be diagnosed with at least one of the following state-approved qualifying medical conditions:

· AIDS, when severe or end-stage

· Alzheimer’s disease, when severe or end-stage

· Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, when severe or end-stage

· Autism spectrum disorder, when patient is 18 years of age or more or patient is less than 18 years of age and diagnosed with severe autism

· Cancer, when end-stage or the treatment produces related wasting illness or recalcitrant nausea and vomiting

· Chronic or Intractable Pain

· Crohn’s disease

· Epidermolysis bullosa

· Mitochondrial disease

· Multiple sclerosis, when severe or end-stage

· Parkinson’s disease, when severe or end-stage

· Patient is in hospice program, either as inpatient or outpatient

· Peripheral neuropathy, when severe or end-stage

· Post-traumatic stress disorder resulting from direct exposure to or witnessing of a trauma for a patient who is at least 18 years of age

· Seizure disorders related to diagnosis of epilepsy or trauma related head injuries

· Sickle cell disease, when severe or end-stage

· Tourette’s syndrome, when diagnosed as severe

Our licensed marijuana doctor will evaluate you based on your current health condition, medical history, and any documentation you are able to provide as proof. If approved, we will enter you into the state registry the same day of your appointment.
