Why Choose the Cannabis Doctors at Green Health Docs?

Expert Advice

Green Health Docs was founded by a team of pain medicine physicians, anesthesiologists, and surgeons. We understand the challenges that patients face and the value that medical cannabis can provide.

Certification Experience

Our experience is unparalleled. We’ve certified more than 100,000 patients nationwide, so we know the process better than anyone.

Doctor Evaluation

Our doctors are state-licensed and Board Certified. When you schedule an appointment with one of our physicians, you can depend on the same level of care you would get from your family doctor.

Your Illinois medical marijuana card is valid for one, two, or three years depending on which option you selected when applying with the state.  However, you are required to be re-certified by a doctor every year to keep your card active. If you're a Green Health Docs patient, we will contact you when you're due to be re-certified by our doctor.

Your doctor will issue an updated written certification each year after your re-certification appointment.  You will need to re-apply online to renew your state registration when the time comes.

The re-certification fee to be evaluated by our doctor is $99.  The application fee to renew your card with the state is $100 for one year, $200 for two years, or $250 for three years.

Yes! The state of Illinois is currently allowing patients to renew their medical marijuana cards online via telemedicine.  This means you can get recertified from the comfort of your own home using a smartphone, tablet, or computer.  Telemedicine is the most convenient way to renew your medical marijuana card.

Make sure you have a device such as a computer, smartphone, or tablet that has internet access and a working camera.

Once your appointment is scheduled, you’ll immediately receive a confirmation email.  The confirmation email will have your intake form, which you’ll want to complete as soon as possible (it typically takes less than 10 minutes).  This email will also have the link to access your online appointment.  Click the link at your scheduled appointment time to access the virtual waiting room, and from there, our doctor will start the video call.

If you’re unsure about any part of the process to get your medical card online, give our contact center a call 7 days per week at 877-242-0362 and we will be happy to assist!

Yes, you can! If your previous doctor is unavailable or if you weren't satisfied with their services, Green Health Docs will be happy to help you renew your medical card.

Yes, you may continue using the same medical documentation for each follow-up consultation with our doctor.  However, you'll still need to fill out a new intake form, which will be found in your confirmation email once you've scheduled an appointment.

Only our doctor can determine if you qualify, so we cannot guarantee your approval. However, if we assess you and find that you do not qualify, you will receive a 100% refund. There’s no risk in scheduling your evaluation!
