Huntington Medical Marijuana Doctors

With the opening of West Virginia's medical marijuana registry and dispensaries on track to be open this year, qualified Huntington residents will soon have access to medical marijuana. In order to purchase medical marijuana at state-licensed dispensaries, patients must be seen by a doctor approved by the West Virginia Office of Medical Cannabis. (1) Be a resident of the state of West Virginia. There is no age restriction. Patients under the age of 18 will require a parent or guardian to register as their caregiver.

(2) Be diagnosed with one of the state-approved qualifying medical conditions. The list of qualifying conditions can be found here. You will need to have at least one form of medical proof of your diagnosis such as prescription bottles, medical records, an office visit summary, or a letter from your doctor.

(3) Be evaluated by a West Virginia state-approved medical marijuana doctor. Each doctor at Green Health Docs is registered with the state and can certify you for a medical marijuana card. Once approved, we'll issue your physician written certification the same day.

Once you are certified by a doctor and approved by the state, you will receive your electronic ID card that will allow you to start legally purchasing medical marijuana from any dispensary in the state of West Virginia once they begin opening. You can also use your medical card in any state that offers reciprocity.
